Mango Power S Pro Achieves UL 3700 Certification for Plug-In Solar Applications
Mango Power S Pro microinverters have achieved UL 3700 certification recognition from Intertek for Interactive Plug-In Photovoltaic applications. This certification adds third-party recognition to the power electronics behind Mango Power’s residential solar offering.
Intertek issued the Authorization to Mark on September 7, 2026. For households comparing plug-in solar panels and for partners evaluating microinverters for solar panels, the certification provides a clear reference for the covered S Pro components.

A new certification milestone for S Pro
UL 3700 is the Outline of Investigation for Interactive Plug-In Photovoltaic Equipment and Systems. It addresses the safety considerations of plug-in solar equipment and its interaction with the electrical system where it is used.
This is component recognition for the specified microinverters. Their integration and use follow the certification documentation and installation instructions. For customers, it adds a documented safety credential when reviewing a solar microinverter; for partners, it provides a specific reference for technical evaluation.
Proprietary Cyclo technology for intelligent home energy
Our S Pro development sits within Mango Power's proprietary single-stage Cyclo topology platform. The architecture simplifies power conversion and supports efficient, compact and intelligent energy products.
Microinverters convert the electricity produced by solar panels into AC power for an on-grid system. Their design is central to how that equipment becomes part of a home energy installation. We bring this conversion technology together with compatible monitoring and control products so households can understand and manage their solar use.
The UL 3700 recognition adds a safety certification milestone to that development. It supports our broader work across solar, storage, backup power and energy management, guided by one vision: Every Home, A Smart Microgrid.
Three solar options for U.S. homes
Different homes call for different system sizes and connection methods. Our DIY solar solutions offer three options for customers to evaluate against their space, electrical setup and project requirements.
120V PIPV for a smaller solar setup
The Mango Power S 1200W PIPV kit brings together four 300W solar panels, four 120V/280W microinverters, mounting stands, a 4-in-1 AC connection cable, Smart Gateway Lite and app access. The 1200W figure describes the combined nameplate rating of the solar panels.
It is an option for households considering a small solar system for home use in suitable spaces such as a patio or backyard. Before planning a plug-in solar installation, confirm that your location is suitable and that local requirements are met. Our solar panels for renters guide explains the practical questions to discuss before planning a setup.
240V Hardwire for fixed installations
The 240V Hardwire option serves projects that call for a fixed connection to the home's electrical system, completed by a qualified electrician. The Mango Power S Pro 5000W set provides a 5kW-class microinverter configuration, with solar modules and mounting selected for the intended installation.
This gives homeowners and installers a route to evaluate larger solar projects while matching the connection design to the property.
240V L14-30 Plug-in for compatible connections
The 240V L14-30 Plug-in version offers an alternative connection method for suitable projects. Selection depends on a matching connection, the complete electrical design and the applicable installation requirements.
It shares the goal of using solar energy for household demand, while allowing customers to compare a plug-in configuration with a fixed Hardwire installation. The choice should reflect the actual circuit and project, rather than voltage alone.
Zero-export control and visibility into home energy
Compatible Smart Gateway Lite configurations support zero-export solar control and whole-home energy monitoring. Through the Mango Power App, users can review generation, home consumption and grid flow.
This makes solar self-consumption more tangible: when the system generates electricity while the home needs it, solar can supply part of that demand and reduce electricity purchased from the grid at the same time. The actual result depends on sunlight, shading, system size and when electricity is used.
The three configurations are product options within our U.S. portfolio. S Pro's new component recognition does not certify every complete kit or accessory combination. Each system must be selected and installed according to its instructions and local requirements.
